Virtus:

• In-person training for first time and recertification
• Training for volunteers and staff is mandated by the  Archdiocese.
• No cost to attend
• Bring your certificate of completion to the office so we may update your volunteer status. 
• Must be recertified every 4 years

Fingerprinting:

• Done 1 time
• No charge
• Bring proof of completion to office so we we may update your volunteer status. 
• We can only accept ADLA fingerprinting.  Fingerprint data is only shared with the sponsoring body.   Other volunteer organization fingerprints, school district, law enforcement, or other agencies do not share their data with the Archdiocese.

 

Service hours for completion:

Receive credit for completing ADLA Fingerprinting or Virtus training:

• Every 4 years you can log 3 hours (per family, not per person) in Gradelink for completing Virtus training.
• You may log 1 hour, 1 time per family, for getting ADLA fingerprinted.
